"How did you figure out what you want to do with your life?"

I have asked this question to so many people with highly impressive careers, and they would almost always chuckle and say, "I'm still figuring it out."

Embedded in this answer is a beautiful, freeing lesson about career exploration and job searching.

- Career exploration is a lifelong journey for a lifelong learner. The wisest people never stop reassessing and figuring it out.

- You don't need to figure out what you want to do with your life. You just need to figure out what you want to do next.

We must reframe the question away from future, unanswerable states, and to the more simple question: "What do I want to do next?"

💡 And then we must be wise enough to be open to possibilities as they come.
